It may be winter, but 'tis still the season for music festivals. In Bellevue, Washington, the Wintergrass Music Festival returns February 20-23, 2025 for a family-friendly, four-day, bluegrass and acoustic music festival. Wintergrass 2025 will return to the Hyatt Regency Hotel located in the vibrant and walkable downtown Bellevue.
Tickets are available as single day tickets or weekend passes. As always, kids 12 and under will receive free admission.
Wintergrass Music Festival Line-up & Performances
Wintergrass 2025 is returning with your favorite artists in bluegrass and acoustic music. Last year, the festival focused on the music of the North, and this year, they're going global. Highlights include the virtuosic fiddle and cello duo Alasdair Fraser & Natalie Haas, the innovative American Patchwork Quartet, and the legendary Italian guitarist Beppe Gambetta.
The festival also features a variety of rising stars like Crying Uncle Bluegrass Band and Two Runner, alongside established favorites such as Della Mae, Steep Canyon Rangers, and Rob Ickes & Trey Hensley.
Expect to hear a blend of bluegrass, folk, Celtic, jazz, and world music, showcasing the breadth and depth of acoustic music today. This is just a glimpse of the diverse and exciting lineup that awaits attendees at Wintergrass 2025.
Workshops & Jam Sessions at Wintergrass
One of the amazing aspects of this festival is the workshops. Attendees are encouraged to bring their musical instruments and join in on the fun! The workshops offer a safe place for attendees to learn and grow their musical talents. There is a multitude of workshops for all skill levels, and they’re offered every day of the festival. This year, you'll find Jam sessions throughout the venue, featuring Youth Workshops, Intensive Workshops and Two-Chord JAM with the pros. From beginning mandolin to advanced fiddle, from songwriting to vocal harmony, and everything in between, there's a workshop for everyone. Bring your instruments, voices, or feet to the hands-on workshops, and bring your curiosity to the lectures, demonstrations, and Q&A workshops led by experienced veteran educators.
