BikeHop is currently available at Courtyard Seattle Bellevue/Downtown and Hyatt Regency Bellevue.

How do I reserve an e-bike?

Can I reserve an e-bike in advance?
Absolutely! You must be a guest at the hotel you are reserving a bike from during the rental reservation.
Are the e-bikes complimentary?
Yes, the e-bikes are 100% complimentary for Bellevue visitors staying at a participating hotel.
Where is BikeHop offered?

If I am not staying at a partner hotel, can I use BikeHop?
No. Cyclists must be a guest at a partnering hotel to check out an e-bike.
How do I contact the hotel’s guest services (example, issue with bike, recommendation, accident, etc.)?

Is there an age requirement for e-bikes?
Yes, the age requirement is 18+ for cyclists.
Are Helmets required?
Yes. Helmets are required in Bellevue when riding bicycles for all ages.
Can I ride on the sidewalk?
Yes. Please operate the bicycle in a careful manner and at a reasonable speed. When you are near a pedestrian, we encourage you to say, “excuse me – passing on your left”. Also, pedestrians always get the right-of-way.

What kind of e-bike is this?

What do I need to know about pedal assist?
- Visitors do not have to use the assist features on the e-bike, they can ride it like a normal bike if they prefer. They simply will not power the bike on.
- Pedal Assist can sense when you need more help and will automatically activate. Riders can cycle up to 20 mph.
- Riders can cycle for 40 to 50 miles on full charge. It depends on the assist level being used.
- The e-bike has gears (1 – lowest gear / 7 – highest gear)
How do I lock up the bike?
Your e-bike will come with a cable lock and a padlock with key. The cable lock should be woven through the frame, rear wheel, and front wheel. Make sure the bike is locked to a stationary object that can’t be cut in a well-lit area. Secure the cable with a padlock and key.
What is the recommended height for this e-bike?
This e-bike is adjustable to fit heights ranging from 5’ to 6’3”. Adjust the seat height for your comfort.
Do I have to take the bike battery off if I park the bike?
No. The battery is locked onto the bike. You do need to secure the bike itself with the bike lock.
What is the weight limit of the bike?
300 lbs.
