Guests will be in awe of the beautiful vistas of Mt. Rainier, Olympic Mountains, and Bellevue’s natural wetlands.

- Can I bring my own wine on the tour?
Yes. Guests are welcome to bring their own wine on the cruise and the corkage fee is $15 per bottle.
- Can catering be provided?
Catering is available for the Private Cruises but would need to be scheduled in advance. Please contact info@bellevuelakecruises.com
Safety Questions
- How many people can go on a boat?
Each cruise can accommodate 11 guests and 1 guide per trip.
- Can I bring my dog?
No pets are allowed on the cruise. If you have any questions regarding service animals, please contact intern@visitbellevuewa.com
- Can we jump off the boat & swim?
No. Unfortunately, swimming is not permitted. We do suggest you visit Meydenbauer Bay Park before or after your cruise. The park has an incredible swimming area for visitors.
- Is this appropriate for children?
This is a relaxing, engaging, and fun trip for all ages including families. Life jackets will be provided for children under the age of 13 years old.
General Questions
- How do I tip my Duffy guide?
We have fabulous guides on board & it’s customary to tip your guide.
- Are the boats heated?
The boats can be heated on chillier days and blankets will be provided.
- Will the boat depart even if it’s raining?
Absolutely! The cruise will depart rain or shine. The Duffy boat is covered with windows that can be opened and closed, protecting passengers from rain, wind and extreme heat.
- What happens if my cruise gets cancelled due to the weather?
In the event of severe weather, Bellevue Lake Cruises will contact you prior to your reservation to reschedule the cruise.
- Can we captain our own electric boat?
These are guided cruises only. If you want to captain your own boat, we suggest Duffy Electric NW Boats.
- Where do I go to meet the boat?
Please meet 25 minutes ahead of your confirmed reservation start time at the REI Boathouse at Meydenbauer Bay Park. The address is 2 99th Ave Ne, Meydenbauer Bay Park, Bellevue, WA 98004
- Where do I park?
You will need to plan extra time for parking and walking to the REI Boathouse. Guests are not allowed to park at Meydenbauer Bay Park. We encourage you to find nearby street parking.
We highly encourage you to take a free on-demand ride on Bellevue’s BellHop from your local Bellevue hotel or an area parking garage. If you request a Bellhop, we suggest adding 30 minutes to your trip, as these are pooled rides, and they might take more time than expected. The cruises will need to leave on time and there are no exceptions. Please plan accordingly.
- Is there a bathroom on the boat?
No. However, there are restrooms available at the REI Boathouse, where guest's check-in for their cruise.
- What is the cancellation policy?
There is a 48-hour cancellation policy to receive a 50% partial refund or have the opportunity to reschedule your cruising time. Please contact intern@visitbellevuewa.comfor additional information. There is a no refund policy if you do not contact Bellevue Lake Cruises prior to the 48-hour period. (Cancellations, Rescheduling should be directed to Tanner?)
